G L O R Y… G L O R Y… G L O R Y

“There was an old man in Elbasan, don’t ask me his name.

He pointed to my heart he explained.

I was bewildered, but now I know—he was pointing at the show!

The Gospel indeed, is everyone’s friend in need.

But more than that,

Heaven itself is getting fat.

Very very fat indeed!”

This poem is a very simple portrayal of how the Gospel works in the lives of everyone who is hungry and how the Holy Spirit moves in the coming and going of everyday life. I write this to all my supporters who pray day in and day out for each precious soul to be welcomed into the Kingdom. Heaven is near, hell is far, to the children who crave the exploration so far.

The above was the opening, now below is the MEAT.

Ezekiel 1-3 shows us a powerful example of what simple obedience unto the Lord really looks like and how the power-shift from our perspective to HIS perspective makes the world of difference.

The prophet Ezekiel has open eyed visions (yes, visions plural) from God. He experiences these visions under pressure (just like the song) while he was living among exiles in Babylon captivity.

The Lord speaks not once, not twice, but SEVEN TIMES (v1.3, v2.1, v2.3, v3.1, v3.3, v3.4, v3.10), and THEN he was appointed to be a watchman for the nation of Israel.

This is what I learned: be a rebel for Christ.
